Exchanging knowledge, ideas and resources to support emerging leaders advance environmental mobility justice

Between the fertile Euphrates River valley and the cultivated lands of the eastern Mediterranean coast, the Syrian Desert covers parts of modern Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.

We build bridges to support emerging leaders in their processes of (un)learning and (re)imagining how we think about and address climate-related (im)mobilities through the lenses of social, migrant, racial, feminist, economic and environmental justice.

In shallow waters surrounding the Tyuleniy Archipelago in the Caspian Sea, chunks of ice were the artists. The 3-meter-deep water makes the dark green vegetation on the sea bottom visible. The lines scratched in that vegetation were caused by ice chunks, pushed upward and downward by wind and currents, scouring the sea floor.

Algal blooms occur annually on Milford Lake in the summer and can be harmful to fragile wetland ecosystems.
